Want an easy way to quickly select the text you need on a website or in a document? This free video shows you how …

As I get older, the arthritis in my hands seems to get worse. By the end of the day it isn’t easy to select the text I want to copy from a website or in a document. I often miss some text or I highlight the wrong text.

I now use a trick that involves clicking either twice or three times with the mouse button.  I learned this when I first became a Certified Microsoft Trainer for Microsoft Word.

Basically here is the trick: 1) click twice on a word and the entire word will be highlighted; and 2) click three times and the entire paragraph is highlighted!

I get so much more genealogy research done this way! I can copy a source citation from Ancestry in no time, or move text around in a family story quickly. Try it out and I bet you’ll be using this trick all the time.
